Quality assurance
A multi-level quality assurance system applies to all activities.
We seek to provide training which, by strengthening individual performance, will lead to personal and organisational performance improvement and thus contribute to enhancing the coverage and effectiveness of social protection for all.
A pre-course survey is carried out to assess the specific individual and organisational learning needs and preferences which will be integrated during the training activity. Knowing these needs allows tailoring each activity to the expectations of the group of participants and ensuring its relevance.
Aiming at assuring high quality, the Social Protection Programme monitors the results of its training activities at different levels.
During the training activity itself the participants’ level of satisfaction is monitored through various feedback sessions and the achievement of the determined learning objectives verified through learning assessment tests.
An end of activity questionnaire provides feedback on participants' satisfaction with the content, methods, services, logistics and personnel of an activity they have just completed. The results are fed into a permanent database and are valuable for planning future activities.
In appropriate distance to the end of the training activity, an impact evaluation will be carried out to assess the concrete application of learning.
According to the end of activity assessment results for all open courses offered by the Social Protection Programme in 2012 the data presented by the chart above reveal the participant satisfaction concerning the following criteria of evaluation:
- the quality of the training activities proposed during the courses;
- the overall contribution of resource persons;
- the likeliness that the participants will be able to apply what they’ve learned during the course;
- the likeliness that the participants’ institution/employer will benefit from their participation to the training course;
- the satisfaction with the overall quality of the learning activity.
The number in brackets represents the number of courses for which end of activity assessment results have been aggregated.
